Who Am I
I am Mariano `emdel` Graziano and I am currently attending Politecnico di Torino pursuing a Master of Science in Computer and Communication Networks, it is my last year so I plan to graduate in 2011. I recently (October 2009) earned my Bachelors degree in Telecommunication Engineering and I am an enthusiastic linux programmer as well as an Archlinux addicted. In my spare time I try to be a security researcher, yes I like to break things :)

emdel is interested in security researches related to offensive coding in particular emdel focuses his attention on exploitation techniques, botnet and malware stuff and finally on traffic analysis, after all I am an engineer ;)

Report for the Computer Security exam at the Politecnico di Torino. It deals with buffer overflows in modern Linux and Windows systems considering also all the countermeasures introduced by software companies. Notice that I have performed the analysis on Windows while my classmate Andrea Cugliari on Linux. Happy hacking!

In this paper we discuss about E-Doctor. E-DOCTOR is a low cost device focused on the disease prevention and support to facilitate medical screening in disadvantaged areas.
